Technical scope

LabCarry is THINKTANK GROUP’s specialist business for laboratory robotics and OEM manufacturing. It supplies hardware platforms for laboratory automation companies, system integrators and scientific instrument OEMs.

The delivery scope includes mobile robotic and manipulator platforms, custom enclosures and work surfaces, grippers, wiring, assembly and hardware interface integration. Platform configuration and acceptance tests are agreed for each OEM programme.

LabCarry prepares the hardware and firmware interfaces for integration with the customer’s software. Scheduling, instrument communication and workflow logic remain with the customer or system integrator. Commands, operating status, fault reporting and recovery responsibilities are defined before handover.
